The JAC Committee reviews and investigates judicial applicants for the Los Angeles County Superior Court bench. The JNE Commission investigates and evaluates judicial applicants at the trial and appellate court levels throughout the state of California.
Susan also is on the Advisory Board, as well as on the Nomination Committee, of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society limited to less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Susan was elected to serve as President of LCA in 2011. To promote the advancement of Asian Pacific American women in the legal profession, Susan sits on the Executive Board of Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance (APAWLA).
